The Spanish club will now thrash out a deal with
his club, Dnipro, before the Ukraine international
will undergo a medical in Andalucia
Sevilla have confirmed they have agreed personal
terms with Yevhen Konoplyanka.
The Andalucian club must now agree a deal with
the player's current club, Dnipro, before securing
his signature pending a medical.
The 25-year-old starred in his club’s run to the
Europa League final last season, eventually falling
to 3-2 to Sevilla at the National Stadium in
Warsaw.
“Sevilla have reached an agreement with the
player, in the absence of a medical and closing a
deal with Dnipro,” read a statement on the club
website.
The Ukraine international hit eight goals as his
side earned a third-place finish in the Ukrainian
Premier League, attracting heavy interest from the
likes Atletico Madrid and Liverpool.
The move will bring to an end a nine-year spell
with the club he joined as a youngster in 2006.
He becomes Sevilla’s fourth major signing after
deals for Adil Rami, Michael Krohn-Dehli and Gael
Kakuta have already been secured.
