The Real Madrid attacker says he is already
looking forward to next season as the capital club
aim for their 11th European crown
Real Madrid star Gareth Bale says he "cannot wait"
for the new season and is determined to challenge
for the Champions League again.
The world's most expensive player lifted the trophy
in his first campaign with the Liga giants after
scoring in the 4-1 final victory over neighbours
Atletico Madrid.
Madrid endured a tough campaign in 2014-15,
however, finishing empty-handed while watching
Barcelona romp to the treble, and Bale himself
came in for some stinging criticism for his 2015
form.
But the Wales forward is determined to challenge
for continental supremacy next season under new
head coach Rafa Benitez, saying via his official
Twitter account: "Had a great summer but can not
wait to get back in to the season and challenge for
Undecima."

Bale notched 17 goals and 12 assists last season
as Madrid finished second to Barcelona in La Liga
and were knocked out of the Champions League
semi-finals by Juventus.
