Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has
waded into Manchester United’s transfer
dealings by labeling their latest recruit
Bastian Schweinsteiger ‘past his best’.
Both Manchester United and Bayern Munich
confirmed the agreement that will see the
30-year-old German World Cup winner
head to the Premier League after weeks of
speculation surrounding the player.
Carragher, who claimed Schweinsteiger
struggled to play alongside Xabi Alonso at
Bayern last season, also raised doubts as
to whether Schweinsteiger would be able to
play alongside Michael Carrick.
Of course he can! But Carrick's stats last
season showed how important he was to the
