Messi was lazy

Antonio Cuccitini believes his grandson could hav
done much more to help his side's cause, saying
that he shirked his responsibilities in the final thre
games
Lionel Messi's grandfather Antonio Cuccitini says
his grandson was lazy in the closing stages of the
Copa America.
The Argentina skipper scored just once in the
tournament as Tata Martino's side fell to Chile on
penalties in the final on Saturday.
And his grandfather believes he could have done
much more to help his side get their hands on
their first piece of silverware in over 20 years.
"Some of him was there," Cuccitini told Radio
Casilda .
"Triumphs are the greatest things there are. But
the last three games he was bad. He was lazy."
Messi has represented his country in three World
Cups, with last year's runners-up finish being his
best achievement, but he did win a gold medal in
the 2008 Olympics.
