Louis van Gaal wants to leave David De Gea and
Robin van Persie behind when Manchester United
leave for their pre-season tour of the USA.
Van Gaal is keen for deals to sell both players to
be concluded before he and his squad jet off on
the two-and-a-half week trip on Monday.
Van Gaal is taking three keepers on tour, he is
considering taking Victor Valdes, Anders
Lindegaard and Sam Johnstone but sees little
value in taking a fourth if De Gea wants to leave.
De Gea may travel to the States, but Van Gaal
would prefer any deal with Real to be concluded
before the team fly off at lunchtime on Monday.
Fenerbahce are close to signing RVP and he may
fly to Istanbul on Sunday to sign for the Turkish
club.
