Thomas Muller from Bayern Munich,
according to reports.
United have been chasing Muller for the last
three transfer windows – with Louis van
Gaal a huge admirer.
And while Bayern are desperate to keep him,
United want to get Muller signed as a
replacement for Robin van Persie after his
sale to Fenerbache.
Ed Woodward is working on the transfer and
the Daily Star says the Red Devils are
confident of doing business in the coming
days.
Muller would likely cost in excess of
£60million but United are thought to have
offered £57.6million.
