The former Manchester United and Everton utility

He heads to Mestalla to replace Ian Cathro, who
resigned earlier this month to join Steve
McClaren's backroon team at Newcastle United.

level but above all he has very clear knowledge

philosophy that we defend: he always was a great

Depay can bring back Ronaldo style-Giggs

The Old Trafford assistant says the Dutchman has
the ability to excite supporters in a way the Red
Devils fans have been yearning for since the
Portuguese forward left
Manchester United assistant manager Ryan Giggs
thinks Memphis Depay will bring the Cristiano
Ronaldo-factor back to Old Trafford.
United signed Depay for around €30 million back
in May, with Louis van Gaal admitting that rival
interest from major European clubs had forced hi
to move early in the transfer market.
The 21-year-old won the Eredivisie golden boot
and young player of the year award after scoring
22 goals - including seven from set pieces - in 30
matches as PSV won the title last season, and
Giggs believes his skill and application make him
a "United type".

Allegri confirms Isco & Oscar interest

The head coach of the beaten Champions League
finalists has revealed his interest in adding an
attacking midfielder to his squad this summer
Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed Juventus are in
the market for a new attacking midfielder and
highlighted Real Madrid playmaker Isco and
Chelsea star Oscar as ideal potential signings.
The Scudetto and Coppa Italia winners went
painfully close to winning the treble in 2014-15,
losing to Spanish champions Barcelona in the
Champions League final.
Now Allegri has openly revealed his admiration of
creative talents Isco and Oscar, in addition to
Sassuolo's Domenico Berardi and Fiorentina's
Federico Bernardeschi.
With Carlos Tevez leaving for Boca Juniors and
Andrea Pirlo expected to join New York City, the
head coach is keen to freshen up his tactical
approach and playing squad next season to
replace the departing established stars.
"I would like a footballing inventor - they are never
boring," Allegri told La Repubblica. "A wildcard in
the line-up can bring a different balance to the
table.
"Ego in moderate amounts is not harmful to a
team's health. I like Real Madrid's Isco and
Brazil's Oscar, while among the young Italians
there is much to admire in Berardi and
Bernardeschi.
"The addition of a No.10 to the mix is both

Giggs reveals Manchester united summer transfer plans

The likes of Sergio Ramos, Bastian Schweinsteiger
& Morgan Schneiderlin have all been linked with
moves to Old Trafford, and Giggs says the club
need "proven winners" this summer
Ryan Giggs has underlined Manchester United's
need to strengthen over the summer as they look
to mount a Premier League title challenge.
Louis van Gaal acted early to secure Memphis
Depay from PSV in May but is yet to add further
new arrivals, despite links to the likes of Sergio
Ramos, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Morgan
Schneiderlin.
United secured a return to the Champions League
thanks to a fourth-placed finish last season but
Giggs says improvement is vital and - given the
increased commitments coming next term -
players with a winning mentality are required to
strengthen the team's core.
"If there are players available who are winners,
who are proven, then yeah, let's go and get them,"
the United assistant manager told The Sunday
Times .
"And with any good team the spine is important.
Midfield, striker, centre-backs, goalkeeper. I'm sure
we'll be looking to strengthen the spine all the way
through.

De Gea can win more tittles with Man United-Schmeichel

The Spaniard has been heavily linked with a move
to Real Madrid in recent weeks but the Dane
insists Louis van Gaal should "fight tooth and nail"
to keep him
Peter Schmeichel believes David De Gea can win
more medals than him if he chooses to stay at
Manchester United this summer, amid interest from
Real Madrid.
Schmeichel won 15 trophies at Old Trafford during
a glittering eight-year stay at the club, including
five Premier Leagues and the Champions League.
De Gea has emerged as one of the finest
goalkeepers in world football over the last two
seasons and has attracted interest from the
Spanish giants, but United's former keeper has
urged him to stay at Old Trafford.
“I would be upset if he left this summer because
I’m certain he could go on to make multiple
hundreds of appearances for United — and end up
winning more medals than me,” he is quoted as
saying by The Sun .

Higuain not for Sale

The Partenopei official has told interested parties
Juventus and AC Milan that they will not sell their
most prized possession this summer
Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli has
warned the major footballing powers in the north of
Italy that they will not be selling star striker
Gonzalo Higuain this summer.
The Argentina international has been a big hit at
the Stadio San Paolo since arriving from Real
Madrid for €40 million in 2013 and the forward still
has three years to run on his current contract with
the Partenopei.
However, Juventus and AC Milan have both been
heavily linked with a move for Higuain, who was
reportedly unhappy with Napoli's failure to qualify
for next season's Champions League.
Giuntoli, though, says that Napoli have no desire to
cash in on their most prized asset, revealing that
his sole focus is on strengthening the squad
elsewhere.

Miranda-Brazil were unlucky

Everton Ribeiro and Douglas Costa both failed to
convert their spot-kicks but the stand-in Selecao
skipper refused to criticise his colleagues
Miranda struggled to find the right words after
Brazil's devastating Copa America exit at the
hands of Paraguay , insisting that his team were
unlucky to go out on penalties.
Robinho put the Selecao ahead after just a quarter
of an hour in Concepcion but Derlis Gonzalez
levelled matters from the spot with 18 minutes
remaining.
The Paraguay attacker then repeated the feat in the
shootout, after misses from Brazil duo Everton
Ribeiro and Douglas Costa, to send his side
through to the semi-finals and leave Miranda and
his colleagues disconsolate.
"It's hard to say anything now," the centre-back,
who captained Brazil in the absence of the
suspended Neymar, told SporTV. "It's a moment of
sadness.

Juve risk loosing Morata to Madrid

The Spaniard signed a five-year contract with the
Bianconeri last summer but Los Blancos retain the
right to buy the forward back in 2016 or 2017
Juventus risk losing Alvaro Morata to Real Madrid
if they do not renegotiate the terms of his contract,
according to the lawyer who helped take the
forward to Turin.
The Spain international joined the Italian
champions from Los Blancos for €20 million last
summer, penning a five-year contract with the Old
Lady.
However, Madrid retained the right to buy Morata
back, for €30m in 2016 or €35m in 2017.
With Morata having enjoyed a stellar debut season
in Italy, helping Juve record a domestic double, as
well as firing them to the final of the Champions
League, it is being reported that Madrid are
considering bringing the 22-year-old back to the
Santiago Bernabeu.

Arsenal set to announce Petr Cech on Monday

Arsenal will reportedly announce the
transfer of Petr Cech on Monday.
The Chelsea goalkeeper is believed to have
told the club he wants a move, and it
appears he is on the brink of joining the
Gunners.
Cech, 33, will complete his £11million
transfer to Arsenal on Monday, according to
Telegraph reporter Jason Burt.
Arsene Wenger is thought to be pushing for
the move – and David Ospina looks certain
to leave the Emirates after just one season
with the north London side.

Insider revealed Arsenal complete the signing of Arturo Vidal

Arturo Vidal has reportedly signed a five-
year contract with Arsenal ahead of a
blockbuster summer transfer.
With Southampton midfielder Morgan
Schneiderlin understood to be close to a
move to Manchester United, Arsene Wenger
has trained his sights on the 28-year-old
Chilean.
And DirecTV journalist Hernan Feler – who
was one of the first to reveal Arsenal’s
interest in Alexis Sanchez – appears to
have claimed that the Gunners have reached
an agreement to sign the Juventus star on
a five-year deal.
Reports emerged on social media that Feler
had revealed the deal on Chilean radio, with
him then appearing to validate those claims
by re-tweeting one of them.
