have hoped when the campaign began, yet this
has still been a memorable season. The Coupe de
la Ligue and Ligue 1 titles are already in the bag,
and a first domestic treble could be completed by
beating Auxerre in the Coupe de France final.
As ever, even the most outstanding teams require
excellent individual displays to fire them to glory.
At the Parc des Princes this year, old favourites
continue to shine, a maligned midfielder has
enjoyed a startling renaissance, while another
youngster has forced his way further into the
limelight.
