Juve risk loosing Morata to Madrid

The Spaniard signed a five-year contract with the
Bianconeri last summer but Los Blancos retain the
right to buy the forward back in 2016 or 2017
Juventus risk losing Alvaro Morata to Real Madrid
if they do not renegotiate the terms of his contract,
according to the lawyer who helped take the
forward to Turin.
The Spain international joined the Italian
champions from Los Blancos for €20 million last
summer, penning a five-year contract with the Old
Lady.
However, Madrid retained the right to buy Morata
back, for €30m in 2016 or €35m in 2017.
With Morata having enjoyed a stellar debut season
in Italy, helping Juve record a domestic double, as
well as firing them to the final of the Champions
League, it is being reported that Madrid are
considering bringing the 22-year-old back to the
Santiago Bernabeu.

As a result, lawyer Giuseppe Bozzo, who worked
on Morata's transfer to Juve, feels that the
Bianconeri must act quickly if they are to hold
onto the forward.
"It was my job to bring him to Turin, while his
father worked out the details of the contract," he
told Tuttosport .
“Having become Alvaro’s friend, I can say his
desire could well be to stay at Juventus long-term,
as he is convinced that they can win the
Champions League.
“It’s a complex situation. In my view the next step
should be renegotiating the clause with Real
Madrid. It is written and can be exercised.
“What the player wants will also have an influence,
along with what Madrid want to do with him, but if
Juventus want to focus on Alvaro for the next eight
to 10 years they must get out of this clause cul de
sac.
"It’s also important to note that obviously his
transfer value has already gone far above the
€35m in the clause."
Morata netted five times in 11 Champions League
appearances last season, with two of his goals
coming against former club Madrid in the semi-
finals.
