Karim Benzema's agent has denied that he has
held talks with Manchester United over a potential
move, and says the French striker wants to stay
put at Real Madrid.
Reports claimed that Benzema could be used as
part of Real Madrid's move to try and sign David
de Gea, and that Manchester United chief Ed
Woodward had already held talks over a €40
million deal. However his agent Karim Djaziri says
that isn't the case and insists that Benzema will
remain in Spain unless the club want him out.
"I haven’t met with any club in London. Not with
United, and not with anyone else. We haven’t held
talks with anyone other than Real Madrid.
"What is Karim going to do in Manchester? He’s
happy in Madrid. He doesn’t want to leave.
Benzema would only leave if Real Madrid told him
he was surplus to requirements, because he isn’t
going to leave of his own accord."
