Arsenal have been cleared to complete the
signing of Petr Cech after Chelsea
reportedly agreed to let him join the
Gunners.
Cech has emerged as a £10million top
transfer target for Arsenal this summer, with
Arsene Wenger having doubts over the
abilities of David Ospina and Wojciech
Szczesny.
The 33-year-old is said to be happy to
move to the Emirates Stadium, but the deal
has hinged on Chelsea allowing him to join
a rival.
However, the Daily Telegraph now says
Chelsea have agreed to let Cech join
Arsenal, having decided the move is fine.
The news is a significant boost for Arsenal
who had been expecting Cech to be sold
abroad instead.
