David De Gea coy over United future

The Spain international is a top transfer target for
Real Madrid with Louis van Gaal keen to find a
resolution but the 24-year-old is seemingly still
unsure over a possible move
Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea is
keeping his cards close to his chest regarding his
future at the club.
The 24-year-old is a transfer priority for Liga
giants Real Madrid, with the Spanish club seeing
De Gea as the ideal long-term replacement for Iker
Casillas at the Bernabeu.
As revealed by Goal , Keylor Navas has emerged as
possible makeweight in any potential deal for De
Gea but the Spaniard, who was named adopted
son of Castilla-La Mancha at a ceremony in Spain
on Sunday, remains silent over a possible Old
Trafford exit.
He said, as quoted by AS: "We'll see what happens
with my future… I'm on vacation now and very
happy with this recognition [being named adopted
son of Castilla-La Mancha]."
Gracias Castilla La Mancha por este
reconocimiento! Thanks for this recognition!

United boss Louis van Gaal discussed De Gea's
future on the final day of the Premier League
season, urging his No.1 goalkeeper to make up his
mind as he looks to step up the club's summer
transfer plans.
He told reporters: "I cannot say when it [De Gea's
future] will be resolved. He has to say something."
Goal revealed on Saturday that Madrid are set for a
summer stand-off with Casillas, meanwhile, with
the veteran keeper refusing to leave the club amid
the speculation around De Gea in a bid to ensure
