I have no relationship with Rosell: Neymar Agent

EXCLUSIVE: The Brazilian's representative says his
friendship with Real Madrid president Florentino
Perez meant the pair were never close
Neymar's agent Wagner Ribeiro has told Goal he
has no relationship with former Barcelona
president Sandro Rosell.
Ribeiro and Rosell worked together on the deal that
saw the 23-year-old forward join the Catalans from
Santos in 2013, though that transfer has since

been the subject of a criminal investigation.
Barca initially declared Neymar had cost them
€57.1 million, only to later reveal the true cost was
in fact €86.2m, which included a €40m
compensation payment to the player's father and
numerous other payments to his family.
Santos only received €17.1m of the total transfer
and last week announced that they will sue
Neymar, his dad and the Catalans.
Rosell, of course, resigned in January of last year
in order to clear his name and Ribero revealed that
while he never had a good rapport with the 51-
year-old, he does not believe that the Catalan was
guilty of any wrongdoing.
"My relationship with the former president at the
moment does not exist," the agent stated. "He was
not very cordial with me in the negotiations
because he knew of my relationship with Florentino
Perez of Real Madrid.
"His resignation was because the directors at
Barca did not understand the targeted values of the
total transfer and thought that Rossell had shares
in the money, which actually is unfounded.
"Real Madrid would have paid even more, but the
desire of Neymar to join Barcelona prevailed."
