Benitez has already drawn up a list of transfer targets and top of the selection is Vidal who was strongly linked with a move to Manchester United Last summer before eventually remaining at Turin.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for the 28 year old, but it is understood that Vidal favour a move to Bernabeu.
