Pastore signs new deal with PSG

Javier Pastore: Has signed new contract with
Paris Saint-Germain
Javier Pastore has committed his long-term
future to Paris Saint-Germain by extending his
contract with the Ligue 1 champions until 2019.
The 25-year-old was the first big name to sign
for PSG under their Qatari owners in 2011 and
his current deal was due to expire at the end of
next season.
Now he is targeting more silverware after a
historic season that saw the Paris club win a
domestic quadruple.
"I'm very happy. This has been the best year of
my career," said Pastore. "This season was
special because I played so much and I felt
especially comfortable out on the pitch.
"I'm very proud of my season, and also of all my
team-mates because without them, I couldn't
achieve anything.
Pastore, who scored six goals in 51
appearances, said the previous campaign was
terrific but has further goals to accomplish with
PSG.
"I hope to keep winning titles here and to play a
Champions League final with this team, that's
my main objective now," he commented.
"I think we can get there in the next few years,
why not next season? I hope so. That's my aim,
to win the champions league, to play a final with
Paris Saint-Germain is my focus."
