David De Gea’s move to Real Madrid is
reportedly all but completed, with the
Spaniard already having said goodbye to
his Manchester United team-mates.
De Gea has refused the chance to commit
his future to United despite their offer to
make him the highest paid goalkeeper in
history, and has been on the brink of a
move to Madrid for the past few months.
A deal is now on the brink of completion,
though, with the pull of a return to Spain
appearing to prove too strong to resist for
the 24-year-old.
According to the Sun , sources close to De
Gea believe the transfer is virtually dlne, and
claim that he has already said his farewells
to United’s playing and club staff.
Madrid are understood to be convinced that
they can get their man with a £30million
bid, with United likely to turn their attentions
to Tottenham’s Hugo Lloris as a
replacement.
