Ed Woodward in talks with Benzema's agent

Manchester United executive vice-chairman
Ed Woodward has reportedly held talks with
the agent of Real Madrid striker Karim
Benzema.
Louis van Gaal is in the market for another
striker after Radamel Falcao was allowed to
return to Monaco, with Robin van Persie’s
future at Old Trafford also unclear.
Benzema has emerged as a serious target

for United in recent months, and according
to the Manchester Evening News, Woodward
was spotted with the Frenchman’s agent
Karim Djaziri at the Savoy Hotel in London
this week.
The meeting only fuels the speculation that
United could launch a £40million bid for the
Real Madrid striker, and could use the
Spanish club’s interest in David De Gea as
leverage to complete a deal.
